The broker desk
The desk opens a file on a broking house when there is something on the public record to file: a register entry with a number on it, a change of entity, a regulator notice with a date attached. 20 houses are open at the moment, carrying 87 register lines between them. 3 of them carry at least one published notice or action alongside the register lines.
The desk does not score, rank or recommend. Where a figure has not been read off a source, it is left as “not verified” and never estimated.
20 housesEach of these brands trades through more than one licensed company. The desk tracks them because the entity a client is onboarded to determines which register entry, and which protections, actually apply — and that entity is rarely the one named in the advertising.

How the desk files a house
Every line on a house file traces to a register or a filing, and the source sits next to the line rather than in a footnote. Where a regulator has published something about a firm, the desk reports the publication and its date — the wording stays the regulator's, not ours.
Commercial figures are held to the same standard. A minimum deposit or a spread appears only where it was read off the firm's own published material; otherwise the field prints as not verified. That is why several files here look sparse. A sparse file is the honest one.
These are not reviews and they are not a “best broker” list. If you want the day's market copy instead, the brief index and the issue archive carry it.
