What the record says
The MFSA published a notice that Triton Capital Markets Ltd (Malta company C 48817, formerly FXDD Malta Limited, LEI 549300GVL196DN9P3377) requested and the MFSA accepted the surrender of its Class 2 Investment Services Licence with effect from 25 August 2026, describing the surrender as entirely voluntary and not the result of regulatory action.
Finance Magnates reported in August 2026 that FXDD was left without EU authorisation after the surrender, and that Belgium's FSMA had recorded 24 March 2026 as the end date for Triton's cross-border permission in Belgium.
FXDD's own website (fxdd.com /pe/en/about, checked September 2026) still states that FXDD Malta holds a Category 3 licence from the MFSA - stale after the surrender notice.
FXDD's company page says the brand adopted MetaTrader starting with MT3 in 2003, later MT4 and MT5, and reports 22 years of industry experience and 450,000+ clients.
