Markets, briefed. Not hyped.
PipDigest is a daily forex issue for people who want the market explained, not sold to. One issue per trading morning, filed at 06:15 GMT, in the same numbered format every time.
Most market coverage is either a firehose of unreadable data or a stream of breathless “signals.” PipDigest is neither. Every trading morning we distil the overnight session into a five-minute issue: five numbered items, a line under each explaining why it matters, and the concrete support, pivot and resistance levels that frame the day.
Why the issue format
A brief that rambles is a brief nobody finishes. Numbering the items forces the desk to decide what actually mattered overnight and to cut everything that did not make the cut. The bold lead-in on each item exists so you can skim the whole issue in ninety seconds and stop reading the moment you have what you need — that is the point, not a failure of engagement.
What we cover
We cover the instruments that matter to most traders — EUR/USD, gold, cable, the dollar index and US yields — in a crisp, journalistic voice. No jargon for its own sake, no chart astrology, and no promises about what price will do next. We describe the structure, the scenarios and the risks, and we leave the decisions to you.
The calendar and the board
Our economic calendar is written the same way: every release comes with a plain-English line explaining what it measures and why it can move your positions. The rates dashboard is the other half of that — the yields and policy rates the desk checks before writing a word of the issue. If you have ever watched a number print and had no idea why the market lurched, those two pages are for you.
How we stay independent
PipDigest is reader-supported and independent. When we link to a broker it is flagged, and it never shapes the commentary or the levels we publish. The numbers on this site are illustrative and for education — this is market commentary, not investment advice.
Who writes it
Written each trading morning by the PipDigest desk in London.
When it lands
The issue lands in inboxes at 06:15 GMT, roughly ninety minutes before the London open.
What it is not
Prices, yields and levels published here are illustrative and set at the time of writing. PipDigest publishes market commentary and education, not investment advice, and takes no position in the instruments it covers.
